The workshop covers all the phases of the recruiting process, department
expectations, helpful hints during the process and the academy, pitfalls
that an applicant must beware of, important dates to remember, who to
contact when questions arise during the process, common concerns
applicants face, what the department offers in special assignments,
physical fitness, important documents that are required with the
application. While applicants are not required to attend a
workshop, to provide their best opportunity for a successful process ALL
applicants are highly encouraged to attend. The workshops will be
held in the Oro Valley Police Department Training Room at 11000 N. La
Canada Drive. As seating is limited for the workshop, you MUST
make a reservation through

229-4950 at least 24 hours prior to the workshop.
